When we divide a negative integer by a positive integer, we first divide them as whole numbers and then put a minus sign (–) before the quotient

(a) (-100) \div 5 = -\frac{100}{5} = -20           

(b) (-81) \div 9 = -(\frac{81}{9} )= -9             

(c) (-75) \div 5 = -(\frac{75}{5} )= -15            

(d) (-32) \div 2 = -(\frac{32}{2} )= -16
