best_answer

Given

f(x)=2 \tan x - 7 \sec x

As we know  the property

\frac{d(y_1+y_2)}{dx}=\frac{dy_1}{dx}+\frac{dy_2}{dx}

Applying this property,

\frac{d(2\tan x+7\sec x)}{dx}=2\frac{d\tan x}{dx}+7\frac{d\sec x}{dx}

\frac{d(2\tan x+7\sec x)}{dx}=2\sec^2x +7(-\sec x\tan x)

\frac{d(2\tan x+7\sec x)}{dx}=2\sec^2x -7\sec x\tan x
