The infectious diseases are spread through following means :
(i) Water : Disease like cholera are spread through contaminated water.
(ii) Air : Common cold ,pneumnia are spread through sneezing ,coughing through air.
(iii) Sexual contact: AIDS or syphilis are transmitted through sexual contact.
(iv) Animals : Some diseases like malaria,dengue are spread through mosquitos.
