AP EAMCET 2018 - The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test commonly known as AP EAMCET is administered by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. AP EAMCET 2018 will be held for admission to 29 B.Tech courses offered by around 309 institutes in Andhra Pradesh. Online registration for AP EAMCET 2018 is likely to start in the second week of February 2018. Nationality- Candidates should be of Indian nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders.
Domicile- Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana and they must satisfy local /non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
Age requirement- Applicants must have completed 16 years of age as on
December 31, 2018. There is no upper age limit.

The application form of AP EAMCET 2018 will be released online by JNTU in the second week of February. Candidates have to fill and submit AP EAMCET application form 2018 within the specified time period. Before filling the application form of AP EAMCET, applicants have to pay Rs. 450 through AP online or credit card/ debit card/ net banking. Applicants have to complete all the steps given below to successfully apply for AP EAMCET 2018:

JNTU will conduct AP EAMCET 2018 in 40 regions spread across 14 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Applicants will be allotted AP EAMCET exam centre as per their choices of region submitted at the time of filling the application form. Candidates, who have studied the qualifying examination in Urdu medium and wish to avail assistance for translating the questions into Urdu, will be allotted an AP EAMCET exam centre at Kurnool only.
The admit card of AP EAMCET 2018 will be issued to candidates online. AP EAMCET admit card will be released in the third week of April 2018. Candidates can download AP EAMCET 2018 admit card through their registration number and password. AP EAMCET hall ticket will bear the exam schedule, name and address of the exam centre allotted to candidates. Before taking a print out of the admit card candidates must check personal details mentioned on the admit card and in case of any discrepancy they must report about it to the concerned authority for rectification.

The Syllabus of AP EAMCET 2018 is defined for candidates appearing in the entrance examination. AP EAMCET syllabus consists topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics that candidates need to study for the examination. The preliminary answer key of AP EAMCET 2018 will be released online in the fourth week of April. JNTU will publish AP EAMCET answer key in PDF file format for all the sessions of the examination. With the help of the answer key candidates can calculate the probable score and know about their performance in the entrance examination. The preliminary answer key of AP EAMCET can also be challenged by candidates. The final answer key of AP EAMCET 2018 will be released along with the result in the first week of May 2018.
The result of AP EAMCET will be declared online in the first week of May 2018. To check AP EAMCET result 2018 candidates have to log in through their hall ticket number, registration number and date of birth. AP EAMCET result will comprise the qualifying status of the candidates, marks obtained and ranks secured by the candidates in the entrance test.
JNTU will release AP EAMCET 2018 cutoff in the form of closing rank based on which candidates will be allotted seats in the desired course and institute. AP EAMCET cutoff 2018 will be released for each member institute and it will vary for each course, institute and category. Only those candidates whose rank will fall within the declared AP EAMCET cutoff rank will be able to take admission.
Candidates obtaining 25% or more in AP EAMCET will be ranked in order of their merit. However, there is no minimum qualifying marks prescribed for candidates belonging to SC/ST category. The rank card of AP EAMCET will be available for download few days after the result announcement. While preparing AP EAMCET rank list 75% weightage will be given to marks secured in AP EAMCET 2018 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.
The counselling of AP EAMCET 2018 will be carried out online in the second week of June. Candidates selected for AP EAMCET counselling have to pay the counselling fee and then report at the designated helpline centres for document verification. After completion of documents verification candidates have to fill in choices of colleges and courses online as per their preference and then freeze their options.
The seat allotment of AP EAMCET 2018 will be done based on candidates’ rank and choice preference. AP EAMCET seat allotment result will be published online. Candidates have to download allotment order, report through self-reporting system and then report at the allotted college for admission.
