A light ray gets reflected from the line \mathrm{x=-2}. If the reflected ray touches the circle \mathrm{x^2+y^2=4}  and point of incident is (-2,-4) then equation of incidence ray is

\mathrm{y}=\mathrm{mx} \pm 2 \sqrt{1+\mathrm{m}^2} if it passes though

\mathrm{P}(-2,-4)

(-2,-4) then -4=-2 m \pm 2 \sqrt{1+m^2}

\Rightarrow \mathrm{m}=\frac{3}{4}, \infty

hence slope of reflected

-\frac{3}{4}  equation of incident ray is  \mathrm{y+4=\frac{-3}{4}(x+2)}
