The frequency in closed organ pipe -

\nu = \left ( 2n+1 \right )\frac{V}{4l}

n= 0,1,2,3...............
 

- wherein

V= velocity of sound wave

l= length of pipe

n= number of overtones

 

(2n +1)f_{0}\leq 20000

f_{0} = 1.5kHz

n = 6

Total numbers of overtone that can be heared is 7 (0 →6)
