As we have learned

Line -

A straight line can be determined by

(i)    its direction and the coordinates of a point on it.

(ii)    Any two points on it are given.

 If only direction is given, there will be infinte lines.

If only one point is given there will be infinte lines passing through that point.

When either two points are given or one point and direction is given the line will be unique
