The density of kerosene is higher than the lithium, if we immerse the lithium in it, it starts to float. So, the jelly like Paraffin wax is used.

Density of kerosene= 0.81g/cm³

Density of Lithium= 0.534g/cm³

You can clearly see that Density of kerosene> Density of Lithium
