There are two holes one each along opposite sides of a wide rectangular tank.The cross section of each hole  is 0.01 square meter and the vertical distance between the holes is one metre.The tank is filled with water.the net force on tank (in newton) when water flows out of the holes is :(density of the water is 1000 kilogram per meter cube)

Force exerted by water coming out is

F=(density)×(area of hole)×(v^2)

let F1 is on hole 1

and F2 is on hole 2

So Net force F= (F2-F1)=\rho a(V_2^2-V_1^2)

now  apply Bernoulli's equation for two holes

so we get (V_2^2-V_1^2)=2gh

So F=2\rho agh

use area of hole =0.01m^2

and h=1m. density =1000kgm^-3
