if -\frac{\pi }{2}\leqslant \Theta \leqslant \frac{\pi }{2}

\cos ^{-1}\left ( \cos \Theta \right )= \Theta

if 0\leqslant \Theta \leqslant \pi

 

x = \sin^{-1}(\sin 10) = 3\pi -10

y= \cos^{-1}(\cos 10) = 4\pi -10

y - x = \pi
