As we learnt,

 

when electric field applied in upward direction -

{T}'=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{l}{g-\left ( \frac{q\epsilon }{m} \right )}}

- wherein

 

g' = g - \frac{QE}{m}

So new time period 

T_1 = 2\pi\sqrt{\frac{l}{g - \frac{QE}{m}}}

\therefore T_1> T
