\theta _{c}= critical angle

A ray of light incidence on a prism of angle A & Refractive index  \mu will not emerge out of a prism.

 

 Condition of no emergence is 

A> 2\Theta_{c} \ or\ \Theta_{c}< \frac{A}{2}=30^{0}
