Acceleration of Block on horizontal surface -

ma = P - FK

a=\frac{P-F_{K}}{m}

a = acceleration

FK= kinetic friction

- wherein

This is the case of acceleration against friction.

 

 fL=\mu _{s}N\Rightarrow 0.6*200=120 N 

N= mg =20 X 10 =200 N

f> f_{L}  hence,body will move

Kinetic friction fk will act on body in opposite direction.

\sum f= ma

160-80 =20\times a

    a=\frac{80}{20}=4m/s^{2}
