Relation between angle of incidence and angle of refaction -

\mu _{1}\sin i= \mu _{2}\sin r

- wherein

\mu _{1}= refractive index of medium of incidence.

\mu _{2}=  refractive index of medium where rays is refracted.

i= angle of incidence.

r= angle of refraction.

\mu =\sqrt{3}

For minimum deviation

i=e

r_{1}=r_{2}=\frac{A}{2}=30^{\circ}

apply snell law

1\times \sin i=\sqrt{3}\times \frac{1}{2}=\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}

i=60^{\circ}

Option 1)

60^{\circ}

Option 2)

30^{\circ}

Option 3)

90^{\circ}

Option 4)

45^{\circ}
