As we have learned

Vector Representation -

Consider a point P(a,b,c) in space then the position vector of P will be

a\hat{i}+b\hat{j}+c\hat{k} .

-

 \because point is in  xz- plane no y-coordinate is zero & also coordinates are in A.P with common difference 2 so point will be (-2,0,2)

\therefore position vector will be -2\hat{i}+2\hat{k}

\therefore Option (D)

Option 1)

2\hat{i}-2\hat{j}

Option 2)

2\hat{i}+2\hat{j}

Option 3)

2\hat{i}-2\hat{k}

Option 4)

-2{\hat{i}}+2{\hat{k}}
