As we learnt

 

Equivalent internal resistance -

 

R_{eq}= \frac{r}{n}

-

 

 

I_1=I_2=...=I_n=\frac{I}{n}

since all the cells are identical.

Applying kirchoff law

E=r.\frac{I}{n}+RI

or I=\frac{E}{R+\frac{r}{n}}

\therefore r_{rq}=\frac{r}{n}
