As we have learnt,

Reaction with Ammonia in excess Chlorine

\mathrm{NH_3+ 3\underset{excess}{Cl_2} \rightarrow NCl_3 + 3HCl}

\mathrm{NCl_3} is an explosive compound.

It is to be noted that when excess \mathrm{NH_3} reacts with \mathrm{Cl_2}, then the reaction occurs as

\mathrm{8\underset{excess}{NH_3}+ 3{Cl_2} \rightarrow 6NH_4Cl + N_2}

Therefore, option (2) is correct.
