Why the alkali metals become less metallic as we move down the group?
Because of the single electron in outermost shell.
Because of the large atomic size.
Because of the small atomic size.
Because of high energy of dissociation.
As we go down the group the size of the atom increases and hence the outermost electron is very loosely bound and leads to less metallic interaction.
