Candidates should have clear idea of overall exam pattern and syllabus of each section. As per IBPS PO exam pattern, preliminary examination of IBPS PO will be held for 100 marks while the mains examination will carry 200 marks. The total marks allotted for Interview is 100. There is also negative marks for wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Candidates need to secure sectional and overall cutoff score to qualify preliminary and mains examination.

Strategy for Time Management

Time Management is imperative for both preliminary and mains examination. There is sectional timings in IBPS PO mains examination while the preliminary examination will be held for one hour. Candidates need to manage time equally for each section.
