In first round 20 people will be out and last one that got out will be number 100. In second round 16 people will be out from remaining 80 people and last one out will be 99. In third round 12 will be out and 98 will remain.Similarly in every coming round 98 will be last one and not coming in muntiple of 5 and hence the last person will be 98 to go out .

There are two containers: the first contains 500ml of alcohol, while the second contains 500 ml of water. Three cups of alcohol from the first container is removed and is mixed well in the second container. Then three cups of this mixture is removed and is mixed in the first container. Let ‘A’ denote the proportion of water in the first container and ‘B’ denote the proportion of alcohol in the second container. Then A,

Let the capacity of each = 100 ml So 300 ml removed and poured into second First vessel = 200 ml alcohol Second = 500 ml water+ 300 ml A Ratio = 5:3 Proportion of alcohol = 3/8 If 300 ml removed from second  = 300 x 5/8 = 187.5 ml water = 112.5 ml alcohol Now poured so vessel = 200 + 112.5 = 312.5 A = 187.5 ml Hence ratio = 5:3 proportion of water = 3/8 So A= B

Ram prepares solutions of alcohol in water according to customer’s needs. This morning Ram has prepared 27 litres of a 12% alcohol solution and kept it ready in a 27 litre delivery container to be shipped to the customer. Just before delivery, he finds out that the customer had asked for 27 litres of 21% alcohol solution. To prepare what the customer wants, Ram replaces a portion of 12% solution by 39%  solution. How many litres of 12% solution are replaced?

Spirit in first = 8/8+3 = 8/11 Spirit in second = 5/6 Spirit in mixture = 4/5  Ratio    From first vessel taken
40 L milk from which 4L drawn out So milk + 5 liter water  Milk   water Now = 27.09 L milk + (11+7) water Means = 27.09 L milk + 18 liter water So final milk
Here y = 4 and n = 2 By solving above equation we get X = 28
9 ml solution = 50 % alcohol = 4.5 ml Let added water and alcohol X= 6ml
