SBI PO 2017 Group Exercises & Interview to start from Sept 4

SBI PO 2017 Group Exercises & InterviewState Bank of India (SBI) has announced that the Group Exercises(GE) & Interview (Phase III) round for the recruitment of probationary officers will start from September 4, 2017. As per the official notification, the SBI PO Group Exercises & Interview phase would be conducted at select centres across India.

The call letter for the SBI PO 2017 Group Exercises and Interview phase will be issued on the bank’s website on August 16, 2017. Earlier, the GE and Interview was scheduled to commence from July 10. However, there was no intimation from the bank regarding the delay.

Candidates who cleared the SBI PO 2017 mains exam will be eligible to appear for the phase III selection round. Those who will qualify GE and Interview of SBI PO 2017 will be shortlisted for the post of Probationary Officer in the country’s largest banking system.

As per the SBI PO exam pattern, phase III or GE and Interview will be held in two parts. First part includes Group Exercises which carry 20 marks followed by an interview round carrying 30 marks.

Qualifying marks for SBI PO 2017 Group Exercises as well as the Interviews will be decided at the discretion of the bank. The SBI PO Cut off will be declared along with result. Marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for selection and only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) - both in Objective Test and Descriptive Test - will be added to the marks obtained in GE & Interview (Phase-III) in the preparation of the final merit list. Candidates will have to qualify both Phase-II and Phase-III separately. The SBI PO result for Group Exercises and Interview will be tentatively declared by the last week of October.

The final merit list will be arrived at after aggregating converted marks of written test as well as GE & Interview out of 100 for each category.
