Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) Pharmacy 2019: Admission into pharmacy courses offered by the participated college in Gujarat done GUJCET 2019. This is the state level exam which is conducted by GSEB( GUJARAT SECONDARY & HIGHER EDUCATION BOARD), GUJCET pharmacy 2019 offers degree & diploma pharmacy courses in government and self-finance institutes of Gujarat. Once finishing intermediate (10+2) students will seem for GUJCET Pharmacy 2019 Exam.

Candidates who are looking for pharmacy course in Gujarat will apply for GUJCET 2019. There will be two separate conducting authorities for GUJCET 2019, exams are conducting by Gujarat secondary & higher education board & counseling for the admission will be conducted by the admission committee for professional courses.  In 2018-2019 session, there will be 70 colleges who are providing degree course in pharmacy & 9 colleges who are providing diploma courses in pharmacy.

For pharmacy course, the admission eligibility criteria are little different from engineering & technology course. Eligibility criteria for the b.pharmacy course are mentioned below:

  • Only Indian citizen is eligible for this course.

  • Std.12th with science stream ( physics, chemistry and, biology) with minimum 45% marks.

If a student is from state board then the required percentage is :

  • General category students : PCM- 45% & PCB-  50.75%

  • SC/ST category students: PCM & PCB - 40%

If a student is from CBSE/ICSE/NIOS/& Other board then the required percentage is:

  • General category students : PCM- & PCB-  45%

  • SC/ST category students: PCM & PCB - 40%


GUJCET Diploma in Pharmacy

For diploma course in pharmacy through GUJCET 2019, students who have completed Std. 12th (Science) with minimum passing marks of Physics & Chemistry with (Maths or Biology) from the single board are eligible for admission


GUJCET Pharmacy Application form will release tentatively in the 3rd week of March 2019. For filling the application form, the student will have to pay a fee of Rs.300/- through DD( Demand draft) in favor of “ Secretary of Gujarat common entrance test cell, Gandhinagar, after paying the fees the registration ID will be provided to the students so they can proceed to fill an application form. This form includes all details of the students like personal details, qualification details & communication details. GUJCET Pharmacy 2019-  ADMIT CARD

For Authorities will release the admit card tentatively in the 3rd week of April 2019, for downloading the admit card first you have to login in GUJCET admit card portal. Candidates who have registered themselves can see they're admit card online. Some important details mentioned in GUJCET Admit card 2019 are Exam date, timings, examination instruction & some personal details.GUJCET admit card is a very important document, candidates have to carry the admit card at the time of examination, so it is necessary to take a print out of admit card before the exam.


GUJCET Pharmacy exam pattern helps to students to understand the details of exam question paper, mode of examination, marking scheme, type of question so students can do their preparation accordingly. Here are some basic details of GUJCET Pharmacy exam pattern:

  • It is an offline mode exam.

  • Exam language will be Hindi, English and Gujarati student can opt the languages.

  • Exam duration is 3hrs.

  • The type of questions in this exam is objective or we can say MCQ.

  • For each wrong answer, they will deduct 0.25 marks.

  • Subjects included in this exam are physics, chemistry, maths/biology.

  • The total number of questions 120.

GUJCET PHARMACY 2019- Syllabus

The syllabus for GUJCET pharmacy consists of 10+2 subjects: physics, chemistry and, biology/maths. The syllabus is prepared by the Secondary and Higher Education Board, Education Department of the Government of India. The syllabus is exactly the same as 10+2 exams, all the topics of each subject which comes in your state board is important to prepare yourself for the exam according to the syllabus.
