As we have learned

Zero Work -

\Theta = \frac{\pi }{2}

- wherein

Force and  displacement vectors are Perpendicular to each other

 

 W = FS \cos \theta

as Tension force T is always perpendicular to dispalcement so \Theta = \frac{\pi }{2} 

\cos (\pi /2 ) = 0

So work done by tension force will be zero
