 We have,

Cr_2O_7^{2-}+SO_2+H^+\rightarrow Cr^{3+}+HSO_4^{-}+H_2O

Step1. Write the correct formula for each reactant and product.

Step2. Identify atom whose oxidation number is changed.

\overset{+6}Cr_2O_7^{2-}+\overset{+4}SO_2+H^+\rightarrow Cr^{3+}+H\overset{+6}SO_4^{-}+H_2O

Step3.Multiply by coeff. so that change in oxidation state becomes equal.

Cr_2O_7^{2-}+3SO_2+H^+\rightarrow 2Cr^{3+}+3HSO_4^{-}+H_2O

Step4-5:

Add H^{+}/OH^{-} on the appropriate side so that the total ionic charges of reactants and products are equal.

Make numbers of hydrogen atoms in the expression on the two sides equal by adding H_{2}O to reactant or product

Cr_2O_7^{2-}+3SO_2+5H^+\rightarrow 2Cr^{3+}+3HSO_4^{-}+H_2O
Therefore,option(3) is correct
