Flux -

The flux per turn of each coil must be same.

\frac{-d\phi _{s}}{dt}= \frac{-d\phi _{P}}{dt}

 

- wherein

\phi _{s}= \phi _{p}

 

 For a transformer , the flux per turn of each coil must be same .

\phi _{S} = \phi _{P}

or \; \frac{-d \phi_{s}}{dt} = \frac{-d \phi_{p}}{dt}
