  • Lymph is a pale yellow liquid vascular tissue that acts as a medium between blood and the cells. 
  • Lymph is another fluid connective tissue.
  • Lymph consists of lymph plasma and lymph cells.
  • Lymph plasma is made up of proteins, calcium, phosphorus, glucose, globulins, organic and inorganic substances and water.
  • Lymph cells look like floating amoeboid cells. 
  • Lymph is secreted by lymphoid organs which include lymph nodes, thymus, spleen and Peyer’s patches etc.
