How can you differentiate between the cells of a protist and bacteria?
On the basis of cell membrane
On the basis of movement
On the basis of cytoplasmic content
All of these
- Bacteria are prokaryotes while protist are eukaryotes.
- Nucleus is absent in bacteria while protista posses a well- defined nucleus.
- Membrane bound organelle, such as endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi appartus etc. are absent in Bacteria but present in protist.
- So on the basis of cytoplasmic content we can differentiate between cells of protists and bacteria.
