ns\rightarrow np\rightarrow (n-1)d\rightarrow (n-2)f

Option: 2

ns\rightarrow (n-2)f\rightarrow (n-1)d\rightarrow np

According to the Aufbau Principle,

the electrons in an atom are filled in the increasing order of their energies. The order of orbital energies is determined by (n+I) rule. If (n+1) value is the same for two orbitals, then the orbital with the lower value of n is filled first.

The sequence of filling electrons in the sixth period.

\begin{array}{l} \ (n s) \rightarrow(n-2) f \rightarrow (n-1) d \rightarrow n p \end{array}

So, increasing order of energy will be

\(6 s \rightarrow 4 f \rightarrow 5 d \rightarrow 6 p\)
