Let potential of point A be V. 

Applying KCL (Kirchoff's current law) at junction A.

\frac{V-65}{10}+\frac{V-10}{5}+\frac{V}{8}=0 \quad\left[\begin{array}{l} \because V_B=65 V \\ V_C=0 \\ V_D=10 \mathrm{~V} \end{array}\right]

\begin{aligned} & \Rightarrow \quad \frac{4 V-260+8 V-80+5 V}{40}=0 \\ & \Rightarrow \quad 17 V-340=0 \\ & \Rightarrow \quad V=\frac{340}{17}=20 V \end{aligned}

Current through 8 \Omega resistor is calculated by applying ohm's law,

$$ \begin{aligned} & V=I R \Rightarrow I=V / R \\ & I=\frac{V_{A c}}{R}=\frac{20}{8} A=2.5 \mathrm{~A} \end{aligned}
