\mathrm{\Delta Q =\Delta U+\Delta W}
\mathrm{=U_{2}-U_{1}+\Delta W}

Here,

\mathrm{\Delta Q =-30 \mathrm{~J}, \Delta W=-22 \mathrm{~J}}
\mathrm{U_{1} =20 \mathrm{~J}}

Hence,
\mathrm{U_{2} =\Delta Q-\Delta W+U_{1} }
\mathrm{=-30 \mathrm{~J}-(-22 \mathrm{~J})+20 \mathrm{~J}=12 \mathrm{~J} }
