Option: 1

Pb(CN)_{2} is precipitated while there is no effect on ZnS.

Option: 2

ZnS forms soluble complex Na_{2}[Sn(CN)_{4}] while PbS forms froth

Option: 3

PbS forms soluble complex Na_{2}[Pb(CN)_{4}]  while ZnS  forms froth.

Froth floatation process -

This method is mainly for the concentration of sulphide ores. The method is based on the different wetting characteristics of the gangue and the sulphide ore with water and oil

- wherein

The gangue preferentially wetted by water and the ore by oil.

ZnS+4NaCN\rightarrow Na_{2},[Zn(CN)_{4}](Soluble \; complex)+Na_{2}S.
