As we learnt ,

 

Resonant frequency (natural frequency) -

X_{L}=X_{c}= \omega _{0}L= \frac{1}{\omega _{0}c}

\nu _{0}= \frac{1}{2\pi \sqrt{Lc}}\left ( Hz \right )

- wherein

Independent from resistance of the circuit.

 

 

 

At resonance , XL = XC

\omega _{o}L = \frac{1}{\omega _{o}C}

\omega _{o}^{2} = \frac{1}{LC}

\left ( 2 \pi f_{o} \right )^{2} = \frac{1}{LC}

f_{o} = \frac{1}{2 \pi \sqrt{LC}}
