Types of Permanent Tissue -

The tissues that have lost the capacity of growth and division temporarily or permanently are known as permanent tissue. It is formed as a result of the division and differentiation of meristematic tissue. This tissue may be living or dead thin (living tissue) or thick-walled (dead tissue).

Simple permanent tissues are homogenous cells and Complex permanent tissue are heterogeneous cells. Therefore, option (2) and (3) are incorrect.

Hence, the correct option is (4)
