Select odd one with respect to modification of parenchyma.
Prosenchyma
Aeronchyma
Chlorenchyma
Idioblast cells
As we learned
Modification of Parenchyma -
1- Prosenchyma - Long cells with pointed ends.
ex. Pericycle of roots
2- Aerenchyma - Rounded cells, surrounded by large air chambers
ex. Cortex
3- Chlorenchyma - Abundant quantity of chloroplast are found. They can be palisade and spongy tissue.
(Palisade - Intercellular space is absence, makes upper surface of leaf.
Spongy - Large intercellular spaces are present makes lower part of leaves, responsible for transpiration, and gaseous exchange)
4- Mucilage parenchyma - Large vacuoles are present to store water
ex. succulent xerophytes plants (Aloe)
