As we already discussed in Structure of Ovum - 

  • Outside the plasma membrane, there is a narrow space called perivitelline space.
  • Outer to the perivitelline space, there is a layer of thick and acellular zona pellucida, which is secreted by the follicular cells.
  • Outer to the zona pellucida, there is another thick layer of corona radiata, which is secreted by elongated follicular cells.
  • Corona radiata provides essential nutrients to the developing ovum
  • There is an animal pole from which the polar bodies extrude.
  • The opposite of the animal pole is called the vegetal pole. 

Hence, the correct option is (c).
