Regulation of Respiration -
- The respiratory centre is composed of groups of neurons located in the medulla oblongata and pons varolii.

Pons Respiratory Centres:
- Pneumotaxic centre: It is located in the ventrolateral part of the medulla oblongata. Its function is to limit inspiration.
