Epidermal tissue system -

Epidermal tissue system includes epidermis and its related structures (Trichomes, Root hairs, stomata & bulliform cells). Epidermis is outer most layer, all are living cells (parenchymatous) and covered with cuticle on outer surface, which is thick in xerophytic plant and absent in hydrophytes as it protects plants from water loss.
