Below, students will discover comprehensive descriptions of all the chapters covered in the CBSE Class 7 Science curriculum:

Chapter 1: Nutrition in Plants: This is the very first chapter of NCERT Solutions for Class 7 Science. Food is essential for all living organisms to live. Plants are capable of making food by themselves but humans and animals are not. Plants use raw materials like water, carbon dioxide, and minerals for preparing their food. In the CBSE NCERT class 7 science chapter 1, you will study the different nutrition of plants, different types of plants based on the nutrition required for making food, how plants are making food(the process of photosynthesis), etc. In this chapter, you will get to know how water and minerals absorbed by roots reach the leaves. Important topics that you will study in this chapter: the mode of nutrition in plants, and the food-making process of plants.

Chapter 2: Nutrition in Animals: You have already studied nutrition in plants, in class 7 science chapter 1. Now it's time to check the nutrition of animals and NCERT solutions class 7 science for the same. The nutrition required for animals is relatively extensive and complex compared to nutrition for plants. Animals get their food from plants, either directly by eating plants or indirectly by eating animals that eat plants. Some animals eat both plants and animals. There are three types of animals Herbivores(eats only plants), carnivores(eat only other animals), and Omnivores(eats both animals and plants). The basic nutrients required for animals are carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, minerals, nucleic acid, etc. In this class 7 science chapter 2, you will learn nutrition in animals, the digestion process of human beings, including all the organs function which are involved in this.

Chapter 3: Fibre to Fabric: In class 6 of NCERT Textbook, you have already learnt about different types of fibres obtained from plants and animals as mentioned below.

i) Plants: Fibres that we get from a plant source like cotton, jute, flex, and coconut fibres.

ii) Animals: Fibres that we get from an animal source like wool(from sheep, goat, camel), silk(from a silkworm).

In this class 7 science chapter 3 question answer, you will learn how to obtain different fibres from animals and insects, different processes like the rearing of silkworms as well as the rearing and breeding of sheep, and how to make fabric from these fibres. Chapter 4: Heat: In the previous chapter of Science Class 7, we learned about different types of fabric made from wool and cotton. We know that we wear woollen clothes in the winter, and cotton clothes in summer. Why do we wear woollen clothes in winter and cotton clothes in summer? What do woollen clothes keep us warm and why are cotton clothes comfortable to wear in summer? The answers to all of these are given in the NCERT solutions for class 7 Science chapter 4. The main topics that will be covered in this chapter are heat, how it transfers from one object to another, what are the good conductors of heat, what are the bad conductors of heat, and insulators. You will also learn how to measure the temperature and about different types of thermometers.

Chapter 5: Acids, Bases and Salts: We use substances like lemon, tamarind, common salt, sugar and vinegar in our daily life. If you taste these substances you will find that some substance tastes sour, some taste bitter, some taste sweet and some taste salty. Lemon is sour because it contains acid. Similarly, other tastes contain acids, bases or slats. Everything belongs to a type of taste but we can not taste every substance, to find its nature. Litmus paper is one such tool to check if a substance is acidic or base. The pH meter is the scale through which you can measure the nature of the substance. In this class 7 science chapter 5 question answer, we will learn about the properties of acids, bases, and salts, different types of indicators, neutralization, etc.

Chapter 6: Physical and Chemical Changes: In class 7 science chapter 6 we mainly cover Changes like milk converting to curd, the dissolving of salt in the water, and ice to water are commonly seen in our everyday life. There are mainly two types of changes that occur namely physical and chemical. A change in which a substance goes under a change in physical properties is called a physical change. A change in which one or more new substances are formed is called a chemical change. CBSE NCERT solutions for class 7 science will help you understand the concepts behind these changes as well as more on chemical reactions, rusting etc.

Chapter 7: Weather, Climate and Adaptations of Animals to Climate: We come across about weather reports on radio, television, or newspaper every day to know the day-to-day condition of the atmosphere at a given place with respect to the temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, etc. Weather is a complex phenomenon and can vary in a very short period of time. You must have seen bright sunshine in the morning and heavy rainfall in the evening. So it is not easy to predict the weather unless you are with the Meteorological Department of the Government which collects data on temperature, wind, etc., and predicts the weather. The average weather pattern taken over a long time, say 25 years, is called the climate of the place. This weather climate and adaptation class 7 will teach you about the weather, climate, and adaptations of animals to climate.

Chapter 8: Winds, storms and Cyclones: The moving air is called wind. The swift movement of the falling water droplets along with the rising air creates lightning and sound. It is this event that we call a thunderstorm. The more air rushes into the centre of the storm, it will create a system with very low pressure and high-speed wind revolving around it called a cyclone. You must be thinking what are cyclones? How are they formed? Why are they so destructive? Solutions of NCERT for class 7 science chapter 7 will clear all these doubts. This chapter is all about how air exerts pressure, the relation of wind speed with pressure, how monsoons from, winds, storms, and cyclones, etc.

Chapter 10: Respiration in Organisms: You must have noticed when you run faster, you breathe faster. Why is it so? Why do we breathe? In this class 7 science chapter 10, you will get answers to all these questions and more. All living organisms need energy even when they are sleeping or dormant. The food that we have stored contains some energy. This energy is released during respiration. The process of breakdown of food in the cell with the release of energy is called cellular respiration. Cellular respiration takes place in the cells of all organisms. There are some organisms like yeast that can live in the absence of air. Yeast breaks down food and releases energy in the absence of oxygen. This process is called anaerobic respiration.

Chapter 11: Transportation in Animals and Plants: In the previous chapters of NCERT class 7 science we have learnt that all living organism needs food, water, and oxygen for survival. Now all these organisms need a transportation system to transport the required substances to various of the body. Animals also need transport for waste removal from the body. In the solutions of NCERT for class 7 science of this chapter, you will study, transportation in animals and plants, where you will learn about the circulation system(blood, blood vessel, heart, heartbeat), excretory system(kidney, urinary bladder, ureters), and transportation of substance in plants. You will also study how haemoglobin binds with oxygen and transports it to all the parts of the body and ultimately to all the cells, and how blood(white blood cells (WBC)) fight against germs that may enter our body.

Chapter 12: Reproduction in Plants: Reproduction is a biological process by which new individual organisms are produced from their parents. Each individual organism exists because of reproduction. It is a fundamental feature of all known life. There are different modes of reproduction. In this chapter, you will learn about the different modes of reproduction in plants. There are mainly two types of reproductions in the plants.

i) Asexual reproduction: In asexual reproduction new plants are obtained without the production of seeds. There are different processes like vegetative propagation, budding, fragmentation, spore formations, etc.

ii) Sexual reproduction: In sexual reproduction, new plants are obtained by the production of seeds. It involves various processes like pollination, fertilization, fruit, and seed formation, and seed dispersal.

Chapter 13: Motion and Time: Class 7 science chapter 13 motion and time is the 1st chapter of the physics section. In everyday life, we see vehicle move slower, some move faster at different times. If the vehicle moves on the road in the same direction we can easily tell which one is faster or which one is slower but if the vehicle is moving in a different direction, how will you decide which vehicle moves fast, or which vehicle moves slow? In science ncert class 7 chapter 13, you will get to know the answers to the above questions. You will learn about the motions and time of the motions as the names suggest. The speed of an object is the distance travelled divided by the time taken to cover that distance. Its basic unit is meter per second (m/s) and the motion of objects can be presented in pictorial form by their distance-time graphs.

chapter 14: Electric Current and its Effects: This class 7 science chapter 14 is very interesting as in this you will study the electric current, its flow, and its effect.
