It is given that element N forms CCP.

Let us assume that the number of atoms of element N (which forms ccp) is x.

Then no. of tetrahedral voids = 2x.

It is also given that M occupies  \frac{1}{3}rd of tetrahedral voids.

So, the number of atoms in element M:

            =\frac{2x}{3}

So, the molecular formula becomes: M2N3.
