Distilled water is a pure form of water which does not contain ions. Therefore, it does not conduct electricity. Rainwater on the other hands, being an impure form of water, contains many ionic compounds such as acids and therefore it conducts electricity.

Distilled water is a pure type of water which does not contain any in it....These gases dissolve in water to form some kind of acids like carbonic acids which dissociates to give ion. Thus rain water is conducting electricity while distilled water is not conducting electricity
