Answers (1)

radius of conical vessel (r) = 5  cm

height of conical vessel (h) = 24 cm

radius of cylinder vessel (R) = 10 cm

height till water will reach in cylinder (H) = x

volume of cylinder = volume of cone

\pi R ^2 H = 1/3 \pi r^2 h \\\\ 10 ^ 2 \times x = 1/3 \times 5 ^ 2 \times 24 \\\\ x = \frac{5 \times 5 \times 24}{3 \times 10 \times 10} = 2 cm \\\\ H = 2 cm
