Possible outcomes when a dice is thrown once = 1,2,3,4,5,6
(a) Prime number = 2,3,5
Probability of getting prime no's = \frac{possible\, prime\, no's}{Total\, no\, of\, outcomes}
                                                  = \frac{3}{6}= \frac{1}{2}
(b) odd number = 1,3,5
Probability of getting odd no's = \frac{possible\, prime\, no's}{Total\, no\, of\, outcomes}
                                                 = \frac{3}{6}= \frac{1}{2}
