(a) Two ways by which aptometric seed can develop are –

i) In some species, the diploid egg cell is formed without redirection division and helps into the embryo without fertilization.

ii) In many citrus and mango varieties, some of the nuclear surrounding the embryo sac start dividing, project into the embryo sac and develop into the embryos.

(b) Advantage of the apomictic crop:-

Apomixis would reduce the cost of hybrid production so that new varities of seeds are produced more quickly and at a cheaper rate.

The disadvantage of the apomictic crop:-

It reduces genetic diversity due to a lack of variations.

(c) Hybrid seeds are produced by the cross-pollination of plants. In order to get a desirable hybrid, scientists try thousands of combinations. since hybrid seeds have to be produced every year and it needs a lot of scientific research, so the production of hybrid seeds is costly and hence the cost of hybrid becomes too expensive for the farmers.
