Brihadeshwar temple is also known as Rajrajeshwaram temple. This temple is located in Thanjavur, Tamilnadu. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the largest South Indian temples of India. Brihadeshwar temple was built by the Tamil king Raja Raj Chol I between 1003 and 1010 AD. This temple is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India.
