One day me and my friend went out shopping for a gift for our friend's birthday. We have asked our parents for some money for the same but they said no. So, we arranged some money from our pocket money and went to a shop. We decided we will split the money equally for the gift. We went inside the shops and choose the least expensive thing a diary for our friend,  it costed 250 rupees. Now my friend had 100 rupees only. We decided I will pay 150, he will pay later. Few months later, I asked for my money. He responded that he dont have money since his parents are not giving him pocket money. We had a fight in school. Principal called our mothers at school. We told them the entire incident along with the payslip. The principal on listening,  asked my friend's mother to return the money, which they did. So, it was only after our mothers intervened that I got my money back.
