Things I can do for the development of rural India

According to our essay, India is divided into two parts- urban and rural area. Urban area is our cities,  towns and metropolitan areas. While rural areas are village areas and secluded areas of our country. Though, village area is considered to be undeveloped or underdeveloped in comparison to urban areas. There is still a lot that can be learnt by urban areas from rural areas and similarly from urban areas to rural areas. Infact exchange of ideas, goods, population, services is an essential condition of life in urban and rural areas. Urban areas and rural areas both have their characteristics which need to be acknowledged and addressed. One cannot exist without the other.

Some ideas for development in rural areas are developing infrastructure by building schools,  aganwadi, roads and hospitals. We will talk about this one by one. Firstly, formation of aganwadis and schools. As we know, a large number of village population is dependent on agriculture for its sustenance and survival, people don't send their children to schools. In this situation, opening aganwadis and making free food available to children is a good way to keep children in schools and prevent child abuse and child labour. In Aganwadi, children will eat, play and interact with children of their own age. They will learn to socialize and will get an opportunity to come out of their home and stay in school.

Slowly, when parents understand that children are safe in school, they are eating for free, getting education free of cost. They are becoming healthier and has a chance at making their life better. They will slowly start shifting their attention to children's education and will understand its importance. Similarly, students are not able to reach school due to the absence of pucca roads in village. Many villages have kachcha roads and no means of transport to reach schools in monsoon and winter season. This problem is more prominent in secluded parts of countries, flooded areas  and hilly areas. Thus, building infrastructure is first step to ensure schools are accessible to children.

Next step is developing small factories and sources of secondary or primary income for villagers. By creating factories such as of blocking, printing, handicrafts, paper making we are providing opportunities to village people to gain employment. We are also teaching them to become independent. Similarly, for agriculture sector, been keeping, fish industry also people can be trained to use good seeds,  good instruments and good techniques. They can learn to identify, seperate good seeds, crops  from bad ones. This will teach them skills to become self dependent. Also, providing loans to farmers, bee keepers and fishermen we ensure they can afford to buy good tools and can invest their time and money in profitable industry which will improve their lifestyle. Thus, many small and big things can be done for the development of rural areas such as opening clinics and hospitals for poor people and giving them free treatment to save their life from injuries.
