How many multiples of 4 lie between 10 and 205?

Answers (1)

To find \rightarrow no of multiplies between 10 and 205
\rightarrow First no b/w 10 and 205 which is multiple of 4 = 12
\rightarrow Last no can be found out by dividing \frac{205}{4} and when substracting the reminder from 205
\Rightarrow

\Rightarrow Last \, no= 204
\rightarrow As we know the numbers as less from an AP with d = 4 let's calculate no of terms now
\Rightarrow l= a+\left ( n-1 \right )d---(1)
here l= 204
        a= 12
       d= 4
\Rightarrow 204= 12+\left ( n-1 \right )4             \left ( by\, using \, (1) \right )
\Rightarrow \frac{204-12}{4}= \left ( n-1 \right )
\Rightarrow n= 1+48
\Rightarrow n= 49
