(i) While adding few drops of acetic acid, it releases OH^{+} ions and the solution will become acidic and pH value of solution will be go down.

(ii) Chemical reaction - 

NaHCO_{3}+CH_{3}COOH\rightarrow CH_{3}COONa + H_{2}O+CO_{2}

When an acetic acid react with sodium hydrogen carbonate it decomposes into water and carbon dioxide.
