Answers (1)

Total no. of cards = n(T) = 100

 1) divisible by 9 and are perfect squares = {9,36,81}

 n (E_1) = 3

the probability that the no. is divisible by 9 and is perfect square=

P_1 = \frac{n (E_1)}{n (T)} = \frac{3}{100}

2) prime no's greater than 80 = {83,89,97}

n (E_2) = 3

the probability that the no. is prime (>80) =

P_2 = \frac{n (E_2)}{n (T)} = \frac{3}{100}
