What did Bassanio offer Shylock?

The Merchant of Venice is written by William Shakespeare. Bassanio hopes that Shylock may accept double money of three thousand ducats. He thinks so because Shylock is greedy of money. So he offers six thousand ducats in payment of the debt. But the Jew rejects the offer.
